Viviane Dalles, (b. 1978 in France) completed her Master at the National School of Photography in Arles, (France) in 2003. At the beginning of 2005, following the tsunami, she quit her job at the archives of Magnum Photos and bought a plane ticket to India. This first reportage changed her life. Her mind was made up from then on to become a documentary photographer. Viviane has covered stories in France, in Asia (India, Nepal, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Thailand, Bhutan) but also in Australia, New Zealand and United States of America. Since 2012, she is based in France.
